Nuclear engineering graduates Alicia Swift and Fan Zhang were recognized in UT’s 2023 “Volunteer 40 Under 40” ceremony on February 3. The program annually honors and recognizes 40 alumni under the age of 40 who have excelled personally and professionally since completing their degree at UT Knoxville.
Swift and Zhang are members of the third class to receive this honor, joining a group that includes professional and Olympic athletics; service to government and the military; work in research science, technology, and medicine; and more. They were chosen for the distinction based on great accomplishments and have given back to the university through leadership, services, and gifts.
