Ivis Chaple Gore

Biography

Ivis Chaple Gore is a radiochemist with experience in isotope production and radiochemistry for nuclear medicine and molecular imaging applications. Her research interests focus on developing novel radiometal-based probes for use in Positron Emission Tomography (PET) diagnostic imaging of disease states, and theragnostic approaches for treatment. Additionally, she is interested in developing novel methods for separation of actinides and lanthanides from each other, using resins for ion exchange chromatography.


Research

Her lab is focused on developing novel radiopharmaceuticals for diagnosis and treatment of various disease states, such as cancer. They conduct radiochemical assays for radiopharmaceutical development, and in vitro and in vivo studies for determination of successful cellular targeting.
