Megan Whittle
The winner of the November 2022 Department of Nuclear Engineering Student Service Award is Megan Whittle.
“Megan has done a tremendous job as the Transportation Coordinator for the ANS 2023 Student Conference and has developed impeccably detailed plans to coordinate the movement of attendees during the conference and has helped to ensure a smooth ride for the conference,” the selection committee in announcing her recognition.
Whittle was excited to receive the award, but also about the upcoming conference.
“I am glad to have been part of bringing the ANS student conference to UT,” she said. “I am very honored to receive this award. I would like to thank the UT staff who have supported my college journey and everyone who is a part of the conference planning committee for the time and effort that has gone into making this conference a reality. I am grateful to have taken part in the conference planning and learned a lot by going through the process. I can’t wait to attend the conference in April.”
