Nuclear engineering graduate student Robby Kile wrote about Chernobyl on its 33rd anniversary for a recent issue of the ANS Nuclear Cafe.
The article, titled “Chernobyl Remembered,” examines both the accident and its aftermath, as well as how the Soviet Union’s reactor design has since been improved so that no accident like Chernobyl ever happens again.
