The UTK Student Chapter of the American Nuclear Society (ANS) hosted the ANS Student Chapter from the University of Florida on Wednesday, March 7th.
The group began the day with a welcome from Wes Hines, Department Head, and tours of the different Centers within the Joint Institute for Advanced Materials (JIAM). The students were also able to visit David Donovan and Jamie Coble’s labs in the Science and Engineering Research Facility (SERF).
It was a great opportunity for the UF students to fellowship with our faculty and students; it was a pleasure to have them on Rocky Top!
