Students Visit ORNL

Several students from the nuclear engineering department visited Oak Ridge National Laboratory in March. Points of interest included: the Spallation Neutron Source, the High Flux Isotope Reactor, the Graphite Reactor, and the Radiochemical Engineering Development Center. Engineers and other professionals were available to discuss the purpose of each facility and to address any questions from the students. During lunch, students were presented with information about ORISE internships for the up-coming summer term and academic year.
