UT is part of a consortium that was awarded a $25M grant by the U.S. DOE’s National Nuclear Security Administration for R&D in nuclear science, engineering, and security.

The University of Tennessee is the lead institution for a $25 million cooperative agreement awarded by the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA) Office of Defense Nuclear Nonproliferation.

Anagha Iyengar, a former student of Jason Hayward, has received a 2023 Early Career Award from the INMM for her work in nuclear security and nonproliferation.
